Is It Good… or Is It Right for You Right Now?

Sometimes you don’t know how you feel.

And strangely, there are both advantages and disadvantages to that.

Something you’ve been waiting for—longing for—can suddenly feel unfamiliar. What once felt certain now feels distant, and you’re no longer sure if you want it at all.

When Expectations Shift

We’re taught to see things in clear categories:

Good or bad.
Right or wrong.
Win or loss.

But life doesn’t always follow those lines.

What you once desired can lose its meaning. What you worked toward can arrive at the wrong time. And what looks right on the outside can feel completely misaligned within.

Like the Wind or the Rain

Some changes arrive like the wind or the rain.

They can be refreshing—something you’ve been waiting for.
Or they can be disruptive—unraveling what you’ve carefully built.

The same moment can feel like a gift or a setback, depending on where you stand.

Beyond Good or Bad

We often ask:

Is this good for me?
Is this the right choice?

But maybe those aren’t the most helpful questions.

Because something can be good… and still not be right for you.

Not now.

The Question That Matters

So instead of trying to label everything as good or bad, try asking:

Is this right for me right now?

That question leaves room for growth, timing, and truth.
It allows you to honor where you are—not just where you thought you’d be.

Because sometimes, clarity doesn’t come from knowing exactly how you feel…

but from giving yourself permission to listen anyway.
